Companies that must notify If your company manufactures, imports or changes the trade names of hazardous chemical products, you need to notify products in industrial use.
This duty is set out in Executive Order on Special Duties of Manufacturers, Suppliers and Importers, etc., of Substances and Materials.
Notification of substances and materials can be made by consultants on behalf of both producers and importers.
Foreign producers may notify
A foreign producer may notify instead of the Danish importer, but the producer must state the names of Danish importers. The foreign producer must satisfy the same requirements as a Danish notifier with regard to updating information submitted.
In addition, the Product Registry requests an update of quantities from the Danish importers every two years.
